Research contains the letter RE (from READING) and you have to READ what you find! The goal of reading is to understand.....so therefore part of the goal of REsearch is to understand. The "SEARCH" part of the word means that you must go forth and search, look for, gather and find ...sometimes it is an answer, sometimes it is new knowledge.
